The purpose of the tutor sessions for tutors is
- To revise what has learnt (remember better)
- To improve communication skills and the level of confidence
- To make the world better by helping others
We encourage everyone to give classes, as they significantly contribute to their development.
Tutor: any active learner on the Litvill Lessons platform who has passed a certain level, holds the relevant certificate(s) and gives classes to fellow learners.
Online tutor session: a one-to-one session with a learner to help them practice the lessons.
Booking system: Litvill Lesson’s booking system that enables learners to book their online classes.
Learner feedback: learners who participate in tutor classes give their feedback about the quality of the class
Tutor feedback: tutors who hold tutor classes give feedback about the progress of the learner.
Wallet: a money management service, where tutors can make their payment and receive their tutor fee.
1. Learners with certificates have rights to give classes to their fellow learners. The option can be chosen by the learner and can be disabled any time, when the tutor doesn’t wish to give classes.
2. Only active users with current subscriptions can be tutors.
3. Tutors should set the duration of their availability in the Booking system(dates and hours). They get notified when a request comes from learners.
4. Tutors give permission to the Litvill Booking system to connect their booking to their Google Calendar.
5. Litvill Booking system provides a link to a video channel to conduct the live sessions. Screen sharing is available.
6. Tutors should give feedback for further improvement at the end of the session with a form provided.
7. The online sessions with learners are 20 minutes long.
8. Tutors are paid based on the tutor feedback and recording (proof).
- Both the feedback and the recording is necessary for payment
- Fee is credited daily, and shown in a wallet in the profile section
- The accumulated money can be used when purchasing packages.
9. Tutor fee paid is based on the certificate level the Tutor has. It can be checked in the Profile section of the Tutor any time.
10. In case one of the parties don’t turn up
Learner
- Tutors are asked for 5 minutes before closing the session
- Tutors get compensation of 25% of the fee
Tutor
- The fee is deducted from the Tutor’s wallet
11. When a Tutor is available on short notice (less than an hour)
Tutor receives 30% extra fee
12. Tutors may attend the regular tutor webinars on Sundays, though it is not compulsory. The purpose of the webinars is to improve the Tutors’ skills and the effectiveness of the tutor classes.
13. The tutor sessions are randomly monitored by teachers. The purpose of monitoring is to maintain the high quality of the tutor sessions, helping both the tutor and the learner.
Litvill Lessons reserves the right to revise or change the Terms and Conditions with prior notification.
